Carpet detection increases power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the two side brushes help to tease out debris from corners.
The mopping performance, though still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop rotates at a high rate and pushes down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly scrubbing up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots, which is useful for getting into tight corners and on baseboards. The front arms can also be used to pick up larger pieces of debris, like books and broken toys.
The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It doesn't create the same amount of noise when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a proprietary cleaning solution for mopping, and is sold separately from the vacuum. robot vacuums cheap is simple to install and performs well. The X1 Omni robot vacuum is the most expensive of our review. However, it has certain unique features that are worth a look. The X1 Omni's most appealing feature is its enormous dock that serves as the robot's charging base as well as housing for two water tanks, a cleaning sink and an automatic 2.5-liter dust bin that automatically eliminates.
The base has a few control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks, recall the robot or run the dock's automatic emptying procedure. Press two buttons to toggle the child lock. The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed the sleek modern, contemporary base and mopping pad. It's a huge departure from the utilitarian all-black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's a welcome sight for an industry dominated by boxy models.
