There are some negatives to this product, though. First, it's pretty expensive. The manual is bare and there are no printed instructions on how to fix issues with wifi connectivity. If you are able to overcome these minor issues, the iRobot Roomba Combo is a great investment for your home.

It automatically empties the debris into a larger container in its charging station. It can store up to 60 days of debris and is more convenient than a typical mop or vacuum cleaner, which requires you to empty the bins manually.
Contrary to other models, this model does not use precision vision. It rely on basic floor tracking, algorithm-based navigation and basic floor tracking. automated vacuum means it might be unable to locate certain areas in your home and isn't as efficient in avoiding obstacles as other models. It is still a good vacuum for most debris and it's offered at an affordable price.
The Roomba Combo J5+ can be controlled by voice. It is compatible with Alexa-enabled gadgets, like Siri and Google Assistant. Roomba can be instructed by Roomba how to start cleaning, view its map, and even create digital obstacles. Roomba j9+ from iRobot
The Roomba J9+ builds on previous Roomba improvements and its enhanced performance and incredible cleaning abilities set it apart from virtually all of its competitors. It's designed to efficiently clean larger spaces and homes with pets, taking on dirt, dust, pet hair and more on both soft and hard flooring. It is also the smartest iRobot Roomba yet, featuring advanced features such as Dirt Detective and a mopping robot that can anticipate your needs.
Like its predecessor, the j9+ uses iRobot's PrecisionVision navigation technology and a camera to sense obstructions within your home. This lets the robot navigate around furniture, cords wires, shoes and even pet pee (which it is able to recognize thanks to iRobot's famous P.O.O.P promise). The j9+ also comes with smaller and more furniture-friendly self-emptying Clean Base.
After your robot has cleaned an area it docks at the Clean Base and its dirt bin is automatically empty. The iRobot Home App records each cleaning task, and shows cleaned areas in your map. The app also lets you select a specific time to vacuum or mop.
If you select a particular time to vacuum or mop or sweep, the iRobot Home app will let you know the estimated duration of cleaning. You can also select the number of cleaning passes (1, 2 or "room-size" in which large rooms are cleaned once and smaller areas are cleaned twice to three times). You can also control the water level and power and bin behavior.
Another interesting feature is the iRobot application's ability to review images. When the robot comes across an obstacle that it cannot recognize, it will snap a picture and send it to you to review. You can then mark the object as not being an obstacle or create an area of Keep-Out around it. The j9+ then avoids the object in subsequent jobs.
A big reason we prefer the J9+ over other robotic vacuums is because of its mopping functions that are automated. When you turn on the SmartScrub option in the app the j9+ will automatically mop the tough dirt and debris that ordinary vacuums are unable to remove. It can also identify and remove wet spots, coffee spills and grime. However, despite its many mopping functions that are automatic the j9+ can't wash its mop pads automatically like its rivals.
iRobot SwitchBot
The SwitchBot is a great option for people who love robot vacuum cleaners but prefer the versatility and convenience of a mop. This tiny robot packs all of the best features from both categories into a sleek device that blends seamlessly into your home decor. It mops and vacuums well, navigates your space easily across different floors and features strong suction to get rid of pet hair, dust, and pet dander.
The SwitchBot's compact size makes it ideal for areas with lots of clutter, where larger robots might struggle to maneuver around furniture. Once you've connected the SwitchBot to your Wi-Fi, it'll display a screen on your phone with simple buttons -- one to begin a cleaning task and another to clear any clutter. You can also set up no-go zones so that the bot won't accidentally sweep up things that you don't want it to.
In my tests during my testing, the SwitchBot was able to move through my apartment without issues, and also picked up crumbs and dribbles from hard floors and carpets using the vacuum setting. The smart navigation system utilizes LDS laser-radars to create a blueprint for your home so that it can accurately map out the layout. The system also identifies and avoids objects likely to become stuck or crushed by the robot.
When the vac setting is on the BrushBot's edge-sweeping feature is spinning and sweeps up any debris that crosses its path. It also can reach under chairs and tables making it an ideal option for homes that host many family gatherings. You can alter the speed, direction and power of the vacuum motor using the app's settings.
When the SwitchBot is set to mop mode, it comes with disposable wipes on its underside that you can change when they're empty. The wipes are cheaper and less wasteful than disposable pads used by the majority of robotic mop machines. The wipes are tightly fitted, preventing them to fall out as on other robot mops. The robot has a cleaning tool that is typically hidden in an area on the bottom of the charging unit.
